World of Warcraft Addons

by aadhu on Mar.14, 2009, under Games

World of Warcraft
World Of Warcraft addons are programs that install right into the WoW gaming interface and make your gaming experience much more enjoyable.

The most popular World Of Warcraft addons are quest helper programs or in game WoW leveling guides. These addons are designed to allow players to level their toons very quickly using solo questing.

WoW has been around for 4 years now and there are players and gaming teams that have been through just about every race and class combination. They have developed questing paths that are the most efficient in the game for power leveling.

More than just leveling fast using quests they have built these World Of Warcraft addons for leveling by also eliminating those quests that are deemed time wasters and do not provide the experience for reward for the time spent.

Along with in game World Of Warcraft addons the better quest helper programs also provide guidance in building talent trees for each class that are better suited for solo leveling. This is key as you want to be the most effective toon possible when trying to level fast.

More than just leveling fast these World Of Warcraft addons allow us to take advantage of the limited playing time most of us have available.

Most of the time I do not use my addons to power level but I do use them to knock out the quests I want for a given day and still have time to work professions as well as participate in battlegrounds and raid groups with my friends.

You can find WoW addons that measure damage, help with casting spells, provide directions through raid instance but the World Of Warcraft addons for power leveling through solo questing are the most valuable addons available for a player.

We spend a good chunk of money to get WoW as well as a monthly subscription fee to play the game. Does it not make sense to have a great addon that allows us to make the most of our valuable playing time?

It makes perfect sense to me but I have been using these addons for quite some time now so I see the benefit first hand.

Many first time players have issues with how to complete quests or what areas they should be questing for a certain level range. These World Of Warcraft addons eliminate all of those questions and make the game less frustrating allowing you to have more fun doing great things in the game.

Older players that have been through the grind of leveling several times find it more refreshing to not have to think about what questing path am I going to take this time and just follow the guide.

You want to make sure you have an addon or quest helper program that has all of the racial starting areas so you can build any toon you want and can start using the addon in the proper starting area.

The best of these programs will allow you to get from level 1 to 80 in times much faster than any player would be able to do without a quest helper addon helping to guide them along the way.

World of Warcraft is the Most Popular!

by aadhu on Mar.11, 2009, under Games

World of Warcraft
The World of Warcraft is, arguably, the most popular gaming online venue to have been invented. This game is so popular Ozzy Osbourne is doing commercials for it and it is officially sponsoring television shows. Because we understand just how popular this online gaming venue is, we thought we would let World of Warcraft be one of our first topics!

Here is a brief rundown on World of Warcraft: the gaming online venue of choice. (Incidentally, that was our description, not the description provided by the inventors of the game)

World of Warcraft is often referred to simply as WoW. The players take place in gaming online via a large number of servers. The game was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and released in 2004. This game takes up on the world introduced in the previous Warcraft games relieved by Blizzard. The developers of this gaming online venue have released two expansion packs. The first, The Burning Crusade, was released in the beginning of 2007 and the second expansion was released at the beginning of November 2008. The game has gotten so large that many stores carrying the expansion pack decided to give it a midnight release party—something most recently seen with the Harry Potter phenomenon.

There are more than eleven million subscribers gaming online with World of Warcraft via a monthly subscription and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s most popular MMORPG. As of 2008 more than sixty percent of the gaming online population had a World of Warcraft account and played the game regularly!

Players are given a free trial and then required to purchase more playing time by either purchasing a monthly subscription or purchasing playing cards that are loaded with a finite amount of time. Most players choose to buy a monthly subscription as that can be billed through a debit or credit card.

The fact that there are eleven million monthly subscribers to this gaming online venue means that the creators at Blizzard must be doing something right, though the players of the game insist that it is the interaction with their fellow players that keep them dedicated to the advancement of their game characters. Players bond together to form guilds and they schedule activities with other guilds and work together to “down bosses” go on “raids” and work to gain experience and loot.

The tricky part of this game is that it takes place via server time. Certain events only happen at certain times and if players want to take part in those events, they need to be sitting in front of their computers at that particular time. This is another way that the online gaming gods at Blizzard keep so many players addicted to the game. It is not static—it has truly become an alternate reality for many people all over the world! World of Warcraft is incredibly popular, something that surprises many people who are not familiar with online gaming, but which is completely unsurprising to regular MMPORG gamers.
