If you are like me and have your ROL WiFi router in another room, it can be a pain having to reboot it once in a while. Or trying to see if all the lights are green every time there is a service outage. You can do this and a lot more if you had access to the ROL’s Routers admin interface.

I was trying to add Dhiraagu mobile internet settings to my nexus s, after updating to ICS and wasn’t sure of the proxy/gateway IP address. Tried looking it up on the Dhiraagu mobile website but the setting page seems to be down (and if i recall correctly it has been down for ages). Anyway here are the correct settings for Dhiraagu mobile internet, 3G, WAP and MMS for those of you who might be looking for it.

For compatible devices you can get the settings by following the instructions you get after sending a blank sms to 222.

Settings for WAP:

APN: wap.dhimobile
WAP Gateway: 172.24.97.4
Port*: 9201 or 8080

Settings for MMS:

APN: mms.dhimobile
WAP Gateway/MMS Proxy: 172.24.97.4
Port*: 9201 or 8080
MMSC: http://mmsc.dhimobile.com.mv

Settings for 3G / Internet:

APN: internet.dhimobile
WAP Gateway/MMS Proxy: 172.24.97.4
Port*: 8080

* for some devices there might not be a specified input area for port, for these devices use the gateway/proxy address as: 172.24.97.4:8080 or 172.24.97.4:9201
