Diablo III Announced

Happy Day… Blizzard has finally announced a sequel to Diablo (one of my fav RPG’s for the PC EVA!)…. Some early gameplay shots and trailers have been released n can be seen below.

The Story:

It has been twenty years since the events of Diablo II. Of those who faced the Lords of Hatred, Terror, and Destruction in the battle over the fate of Sanctuary, there are few still living who can bear to remember the horrors that the Prime Evils wrought upon the world. And of those who did not witness the terrible events firsthand, most believe the stories to be little more than myth. But something evil is stirring once again in Tristram, and it may already have claimed its first victim: Deckard Cain.

Diablo III Cinematic Trailer:

”Diablo III is first and foremost a co-operative game,” that’s the message from Blizzard. So this is not a game you will be playing alone. It is also said to have a campaign mode for single play with probable mixture of static and random generated dungeons.

Diablo III is going to feature an all new “real-physics” 3D engine developed by Blizzard, and is confirmed for the PC and MAC (no word as of yet about a port to any console). No release dates as well. But word is it’ll be around the end of 2009.
